I was fortunate enough to spend 6 months studying abroad in Brisbane Australia and being that close to the Great Barrier Reef you know I had to go! Before I left my parents gave me a brand new camera, Sea Sea MX-10 with the strobe and all the lenses! I actually made 4 seperate trips up to Cairns and the wonderous reef during my stay totalling 34 dives. During my first trip to the reef I made my 100th dive. One trip was several weeks long during which I earned my PADI Divemaster certification. I spent my 21st birthday diving and snorkeling on the reef with my parents during their visit. This was a once in a lifetime trip full of milestones and firsts, but I will be going back to Australia someday..
